On Road Academy
What is the project?
Whilst youths can get involved with the production of articles or videos on a ‘one-off’ basis, we also offer ‘courses’ for those who wish to get as much as they can out off the On Road media project
Four times a year we recruit a group of youth participants to discuss, plan, write, design, and film for On Road magazine. Along with gaining vital experience, youth participants also have the opportunity to gain AQA accreditations which in the future will no doubt help with prospective employment.
Our busiest intake is during the spring and summer term. We have affiliations set up with various schools in the borough of Camden and Westminster to make sure this opportunity reaches those youths that need it.
