Street Party 2024!

THANK YOU EVERYONE WHO JOINED US FOR FITZROVIA STREET PARTY AND MAKING THE AMERICAN DREAM!
We were joined by 400 amazing residents to celebrate the end of summer together!
The American Dream was designed, organised and run by a group of 15 incredible young people, who were joined by a over 30 young people on the day as stewards and performers! The group worked together from June to make the event happen, selecting the theme, food and entertainment and activities.
The fun filled event included a 360 photobooth, silent disco, Rodeo Bull, Bouncy Castle, several game stalls, a water dunker and of course our fantastic large stage with dining area for guests to sit together and enjoy the atmosphere! We also had some brilliant FYA young members running their own stalls such as our glitter tattoo station, face paint and henna from Enaya, Delicia and Samiya. We were also supported by Gina and the team from Ampthill Square TRA providing candyfloss and popcorn throughout the event, which was a guest favourite! Our stage had incredible performers including the amazing energy of Remix Dance, singing from our own talented members Gloria, Nikki, Ariella, Aya and Leanna and the elegant local Ukranian group Dash Dance. We also had a raffle, with lots of prizes to be won by so many of our guests collecting raffle tickets as they took part in different activities. Also a massive well done to our hosts Fuad and Rafi who kept the crowd entertained throughout the event!

During the event 98% of the guest stated the event was Brilliant or Good, with 71% stating it was Brilliant. 88% of the community highlighted that events like these make them feel more safe and social. 80% of guests stated that the Street Party made them feel more connected to their community and 82% mentioned how they met people at the event that they did not know before.
