Camden Youth Action Showcase 2022

On Thursday 7th April, Fitzrovia Youth in Action held our Camden Youth Action Showcase 2022, celebrating our 25th Birthday!

100 guests joined us at Indian YMCA to celebrate the incredible work of young people and our partners from across the borough with 20 young people stewarding, hosting, performing and sharing their projects and 10 films created by young people were screened. 

100% of guests rated the event as Good or Brilliant, with 87% stating Brilliant. 92% of guests said they met people at the event they did not know before. Some of the feedback included

It was fantastic seeing the efforts of the youth and seeing their growth and strength developed 

Inspiring to hear young people’s stories and see the incredible work they do with peers 

It showed the power, importance and healing power of youth action 

Learning about the amazing and impactful work FYA do and getting to network. I learned a bit more about FYA programmes and connected with other partners. 

There was a brilliant focus on youth – youth led, youth planned, youth voice. The focus was on them and their work

The young people presenting and the videos shared were the best part – demonstrating the many issues that young people are facing everyday 

There was not one single moment that was the best – they were equally fab – from the performances, to the films, to the people i was able to meet and connect with
