Young people from three Camden youth agencies have completed drug peer education programmes with FYA. Fitzrovia Youth in Action has won £6,275 after it was voted the most popular charity in the region in a competition run by NatWest bank. Fitzrovia Youth in Action’s annual Street Party and Community Dinner took place on Saturday 3rd September 2011. With the sun shining the event had a great turnout, with some 250-350 people attending. Fitzrovia Youth in Action was featured last month by the Bloomsbury branch of Waitrose (located in the Brunswick Centre) as one of the charities nominated by customers to benefit from their Community Matters Scheme. The scheme raised £315 for FYA and we would like to thank Waitrose and their customers for their support.
