Young people from three Camden youth agencies have completed drug peer education programmes with FYA. Fitzrovia Youth in Action has won £6,275 after it was voted the most popular charity in the region in a competition run by NatWest bank. Fitzrovia Youth in Action was featured last month by the Bloomsbury branch of Waitrose (located in the Brunswick Centre) as one of the charities nominated by customers to benefit from their Community Matters Scheme. The scheme raised £315 for FYA and we would like to thank Waitrose and their customers for their support.
Fitzrovia Youth in Action (FYA) is a community based youth action project situated on Warren Street. By incorporating youth work, media and sports to engage young people, we support them in developing projects which benefit both local and wider communities. These projects also help to improve relationships between people from different ethnic and age groups throughout the London Borough of Camden.

The popular Fitzrovia Street Party and Community Dinner will take place on Saturday 3rd September 2011. This event takes place from 3-6pm outside the Warren outdoor play area in Whitfield Street, London W1, and is aimed at improving relations between young people and residents who live close-by.
FYA presents a short introduction to its football coaching programme, including some interviews with past and present players. See how you can get involved, and be a part of this unique community project.
Fitzrovia Youth in Action partnered with young people from South Camden Youth Access Point to create this short film about Shisha smoking in the London Borough of Camden. The film explores cultural and social aspects of Shisha smoking as well as the health risks involved.
