We run a weekly healthy living drop-in sessions on a Tuesday evening for young people aged 8-16.
The young people participate in health-related workshops and take part in sessions on drug awareness, mental health issues, sexual health, cooking, and nutrition. As part of our sport and exercise programme, young people participate in a wide variety of sports including non-contact boxing, football, and swimming.
The young people taking part gain accreditation in a wide range of subjects, from bike maintenance to healthy cooking, boxing, football, and even building your own gym.
We also support participants in organising a Healthy Living Festival, a community event to raise awareness of healthy living choices. Everyone in the community is welcome to come along and try out our interactive health games, get involved in the football tournament, and enjoy young people’s musical and dance performances.
