On Sunday 13th October 2019 we were chosen by Alejandra Burgos who is an Argentinean singer, guitarist and songwriter to be her charity partner for a gig she was playing at London’s iconic 100 club which has been hosting live music since 1942.
Because of the club’s rich history, it has become an institution for intimate secret shows by major acts including Oasis, Metallica, The Rolling Stones, Blur, Mark Ronson, Paul Mccartney, Nas and Plan B to name just a few. Two of our very own youth performers, Ky Lewis and Yasmine McColl Benz were given an opportunity to be supporting acts before Alejandra came on stage.
The gig was a success and we raised £1100 from ticket and CD sales on the night. We would like to thank Alejandra for supporting FYA and giving Ky and Yasmin the opportunity to be supporting acts as well as Dave Brown who arranged the partnership. www.AlejandraBurgos.com/100Club
