Community Iftar

A special evening was organised by Regent’s Park Together, in partnership with Fitzrovia Youth in Action, Old Diorama Arts Centre, Camden Detached Youth team, The Euston Partnership, Community Champions Regent’s Park Estate and Hopscotch Asian Women’s Centre inviting any local residents to join together in the spirit of community and share the breaking of fast this Ramadan. We have recently stopped our weekly Community Kitchen, so this was our first monthly community kitchen social.

We had over 350 people from all different backgrounds attending, all coming together as one to celebrate, show some love, and learn more about what Ramadan is and why we practice it.

A massive thank you to all the restaurants from Drummond street who donated the food, Regents Place for the beautiful venue meaning the rain couldn’t stop us, and all the other organisations for support, stalls and activities and more.

Another Big Big thank you to everyone who came and supported this event, and of course to all our Community Champions and volunteers – we couldn’t have done it without you all 🫶🏼✨
