The Warren Centre Management Team

The Management Team formed in December 2018, overseeing the project from an idea to a reality. The team took part in a national Community Organisers programme, funded by the Department for Culture, Media and Sport. The training included community organising, community listening, action planning and consultation methods.

Updates from The Warren Centre Management Team

During 2020-2021, The Warren Centre Management team were required to, like many of us to shift focus. The team formed a new group with other FYA member – Digital Steering Group. This group of young people guided FYA during the COVID-19 pandemic, helping FYA to run digitally. Throughout the various lockdowns, the Digital Steering Group led projects to keep members connected, whether it was through art, music or simple check-in meetings.

In May 2021, with COVID-19 restrictions easing, The Warren Centre Management are back in their original roles. Though The Warren Centre is open, there is still a lot of work to do and The Warren Centre Management Team are meeting bi-weekly to make it happen.
